The site is designed to be used with Gamespy or as a reference to adding ips into your game.
The quick and easy way to use this site is with the use of GameSpy.
Setting up Game spy
First you need to download the program GameSpy. Which will do most of the hard work for you getting pings,players etc. It can be found here at GameSpy.
Once you have gamespy installed and running then you can add the servers to your gamespy list.
Adding Server listing
1. Right Click on the game names that are listed vertically on the left hand side See Pictures for greater detail
2. Select the "Add Server List" See Pictures for greater detail
3. In the Name Type "NZ Server list" or "Nz Games" it can be what ever you choose. The Address of the "Server list location" will need to be in the format http://www.techie.net.nz/games/gamethatyouwanttoplay.html. E.g. for the popular game Halflife put in the "Server list location" http://www.techie.net.nz/games/halflife.html See Pictures for greater detail
4. All you need to do
now is hit the Refresh all servers button. The icon of the world with the two
arrows cirling it. E.g.
